VDH - Vehicle Data Hub
The Vehicle Data Hub (VDH) includes a great service portfolio for the remarketing of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars, private vans and commercial vans. If you are looking for one single source for complete vehicle data objects or general vehicle information, our services might be interesting for you. In addition, our services could also be of interest for you, if you want to supply the Mercedes-Benz customer frontends with your used vehicles.
Our services are divided into dedicated APIs that are published on the Mercedes-Benz oneAPI {HUB}. For a first impression, please explore the content on this website.

VDH APIs VDH contains several APIs that are published in the oneAPI {HUB}. The APIs can be easily identified by the VDH in title of the API. Simply search for VDH in the oneAPI {HUB} and subscribe to the corresponding API(s).
Please be aware, that due to technical framework conditions, the VSE-services are replaced by VDH APIs. The data delivery by the VSE-services ends on 31/12/2024!
There are three primary use cases to use the different VDH APIs:
If you are a dealer and want to upload vehicle images, manage your used vehicle stock, retrieve vehicle data based on a specific VIN/FIN, please use the following VDH APIs: “VDH Media Management”, “VDH Used Stock Management”, “VDH Vehicle Data (VIN/FIN dependent)” and “VDH Vehicle Master Data (VIN/FIN independent)”.
If you are a Mercedes-Benz application for e.g. Aftersales and want to retrieve a vehicle data based on a specific VIN/FIN, please use the API “VDH Vehicle Data (VIN/FIN dependent)”.
If you are a frontend and want to show vehicles for online sales that have been stored by dealers in VDH, please use the API “VDH Search”.
Quokka in the foreground, Quokka in the background VDH Used Stock Management If you want to manage Used Vehicles in your stock, this API is relevant for you! It allows you to submit the specific condition data of a used vehicle to VDH. Within VDH, we create your individual vehicle stock and you are able to assign your vehicles to online sales channels.

You will receive the factory data, standard- and special equipment incl. corresponding marketing texts/descriptions for a specific VIN/FIN.

Quokka in the foreground, Quokka in the background VDH Media Management If you want to upload and edit vehicle media files (photos and videos), then this API fits your demand. If the corresponding vehicle exists in your stock, then your media files will be directly assigned to the vehicle. In addition the media files can be provided to defined sales channels.

Search parameters are e.g. model type, color, location, or VIN/FIN.

VDH Client The VDH Client is a lightweight dealer management system to enable dealers to manage their vehicle stock of used vehicles. This web-application is an alternative to different Dealer Management Systems (DMS) available on the market. If you are interested in using our VDH Client, then please contact our VDH support (see below for further information).

The VDH Client offers different vehicle management operations:
Among others, you can take in your vehicles to your personal vehicle stock, you can edit vehicle data like mileage, prices, damages, you can upload and delete corresponding vehicle pictures, and you can reserve or sell vehicles directly in this application. Additionally, you can retrieve vehicle master data (VIN/FIN independent).

Example VDH API Requests For each of our VDH APIs we provide different example API requests (Postman Collections). These example files are free to use and explain the opportunities of the VDH APIs. The target audience for this Postman Collection are developers or/and development teams that need technical details on how to use the APIs.
